i was in a little town of vernal utah, i called the local cab company, i was going from a wal mart store there to the IFA across town, the cab drivers there were some of the most friendly and honest drivers i have ever came across, i have been all over the united states and hong kong, usually drivers keep to them selves or are perverts to the female passengers, the 3 i met in this town were down to earth country boys just making a living and treated me and my wife like we were family. I promise you this, the cab cost may have been a little higher than the city, but worth the hospitality i was given! If your in vernal utah call the cab, its worth every dime!

To all those people who are bashing cab drivers "GET A LIFE". These cab drivers are hardworking people working 12-16 hrs shift & handling the jerks like yourself.

My trips to and from Atlanta have been pleasant ones in a cab. I have found one specific company that I enjoy riding with the most. The name of the company is Atlanta Royal Cabbies. They have always gone out of their way to make my visiting transportation needs easy and accomodating. I have lived abroad for many years, as well as, many state side big cities. It has always been puzzling to me as to why Atlanta seems to be the only city that I have come in contact with that gives the taxi driver a bad reputation. My story is different. May-be you should promote your ambassadors rather than cut them down. My experiences have been enjoyable ones with my taxi service, namely Royal Cabbies. You should think about writing good articles rather than asking for "Taxi Horror Stories" then maybe the image of this beautiful city would change for the better.

Not a nightmare just want all the people who had bad cab drivers to know that there are some of us that are still good ones of us left I give reg. Of mine discounts all the time.

I HAVE BEEN A CAB DRIVER FOR OVER 4 YEARS.
AS A FEMALE DRIVER, I DO GET MORE RESPECT AT TIMES. SOMETIMES IT DOES GO SO WELL.
AS A FEMALE DRIVER, IF I HAVE A FEMALE CUSTOMER ALONE, I MAKE SURE SHE GETS INSIDE HER HOME BEFORE I LEAVE.
MY 11 YEAR OLD SON WAS KILLED BY A DRUNK DRIVER 03/20/2005, I MADE A POSITIVE OUT OF A NEGATIVE. I WOULD RATHER SEE PEOPLE WHO HAVE DRINKING IN THE BACK {FRONT} SEAT OF MY CAB, NOT TAKING THE CHANCE ON DRIVING THEMSELVES. I DON\'T CARE HOW CLOSE OR HOW FAR, I MAY HAVE SAVED 1 LIFE!
I DO RESPECT WHO GETS IN MY CAB! REGARDLESS OF COLOR, NATIONALITY OR AGE WE ARE ALL HUMAN! TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD WANT TO TREAT YOU.
I HAVE A LOT OF CUSTOMERS ASK ME FOR MY BUSINESS CARD, THEY DO CALL ME BACK. WHOMEVER I HAVE IN MY CAB, WE ALWAYS MANAGE TO STRIKE UP A CONVERSATION. THE DRIVING TIME GOES BY SO FAST AND THEY PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE METER.
AS A CABBIE, I ALWAYS ASK MY CUSTOMERS THE ROUTE THEY WOULD PREFER, EVEN THOUGH I KNOW THE WAY. IT MAKES THEM FEEL IMPORTANT ON THE DECISION. I HAVE A LOT REGULAR CUSTOMERS GET IN MY CAB, WHEN THEY HAVE BEEN DRINKING. THEY WILL SAY \"TAKE ME HOME\". I DON\'T TAKE DETOURS, I TAKE THEM DIRECTLY HOME, SOMETIMES I HAVE TO HELP THEM IN THEIR HOUSE. BUT THEY FULLY TRUST ME.
I JUST WISH MORE CABBIES WOULD RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS, AS I DO. AFTER ALL YOUR CUSTOMER PAYING A TIP, DEPENDS ON YOU AS THE DRIVER!
