TaxiFareFinder is excited to announce the release of taxi fare calculators for nine cities in China. Although TaxiFareFinder previously supported a few Chinese cities, we are looking to expand our presence and continue to add new cities. Please let us know how these calculators perform as they are still in the early phases, so feedback is encouraged and welcomed!
When taking a taxi in China, it is not uncommon for a passenger to sit in the front seat with the driver. However, even if a passenger sits in the back seat of a taxi, the driver will expect all passengers to enter the vehicle from the passenger side, not the driver’s side. These expectations are slightly different from those in the United States and it is important for taxi riders to become familiar with these specific customs when travelling.
